Project Assistant at HTW Berlin 11/23 - Now

I am currently working at HTW Berlin, where I have the privilege of collaborating with Dr. Professor Jan Hanno Carstens on the development of industrial grade cleaning rover and drone within his company.

Some of My Work Packages

Velocity control of a DC brushed motor

Developed a small Arduino code and created a circuit for controlling the velocity of a DC brushed motor without any physical feedback sensor (such as encoders)

Velocity control of a DC brushed geared motor using encoder feedback

Developed a circuit to control the speed/velocity of the motor using motor driver and controller (name confidential).

Developed a combined circuit for controlling the RPM of both a DC brushed motor without an encoder and a geared motor with an encoder.

Developed a circuit for a student working on their bachelor's final thesis, involving speed control for both motors.

A simple Arduino-based PI algorithm to control the speed/velocity of the motor.

I worked on applying a PI control loop to regulate the speed of a DC geared motor solely using an encoder as a feedback sensor and a microcontroller, without relying on any external modules.

Study of magnetic encoders for speed control of motors.

In order to develop any feedback control loop for regulating speed or position, it's essential to utilize feedback from a sensor. I opted to use encoders for this purpose.

3D-Printed-Motor-Mount

This was my first 3D design and print, accomplished with zero prior experience in CAD software and printing.
