Velocity control of a DC brushed motor
Developed a small Arduino code and created a circuit for controlling the velocity of a DC brushed motor without any physical feedback sensor (such as encoders)
I am currently working at HTW Berlin, where I have the privilege of collaborating with Dr. Professor Jan Hanno Carstens on the development of industrial grade cleaning rover and drone within his company.
Developed a small Arduino code and created a circuit for controlling the velocity of a DC brushed motor without any physical feedback sensor (such as encoders)
Developed a circuit to control the speed/velocity of the motor using motor driver and controller (name confidential).
Developed a circuit for a student working on their bachelor's final thesis, involving speed control for both motors.
I worked on applying a PI control loop to regulate the speed of a DC geared motor solely using an encoder as a feedback sensor and a microcontroller, without relying on any external modules.
In order to develop any feedback control loop for regulating speed or position, it's essential to utilize feedback from a sensor. I opted to use encoders for this purpose.
This was my first 3D design and print, accomplished with zero prior experience in CAD software and printing.
